The eNOGenerator produces gaseous nitric oxide from air by creating plasma from an electronic pulsed arc discharge (spark) in a reaction chamber. The plasma reduces some of the nitrogen (N2) and oxygen (O2) in the air into nitrogen and oxygen ions, and through collision these ions form nitric oxide (NO).
The eNOGenerator system includes safety features so that air flow rate and plasma generation are independently monitored and the user is informed in the event of incorrect generation and delivery of NO.
